Juliana Signs With Dordt

Juliana Dieleman, one of our grade 12 students, recently signed with Dordt University’s volleyball program! She plans to enter the Pre-Med program and be a Dordt Defender while studying there.

“Juliana is a strong athlete through any front row position as she can perform all skill areas at a high level.  She has played against good competition and seen success through her high school seasons at London Christian.  We are grateful for coach Amanda Beerda and Forest City Volleyball Club coach Stu Pow for their investment into Juliana’s development.  Juliana desires to grow in her walk with the Lord as well as all areas of her life.  She will be a wonderful addition to our campus community,” said Dordt volleyball coach Chad Hanson.

Where is Dordt?

Dordt University is in Sioux Center, Iowa. It is a Christian university and their athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC).

Juliana’s Thoughts

“LCH has prepared me for my transition to Dordt because LCH enabled me to explore my faith with like minded people. I was able to expand my view and opinions of different aspects of life by being taught by people who have the same beliefs as me and could therefore guide my path to one that is honouring and glorifying to God. With this acceptance I am excited to begin my journey of learning more about myself and who I want to be. Going to Dordt will allow me to be independent and make my own choices, while also having a strong community of people around me that will always be willing to guide and teach me in whatever I wish to pursue.” – Juliana Dieleman
Congratulations Juliana on this opportunity! Blessings on you as you finish your grade 12 year.
