We are thrilled to share that all extra-curricular activities will resume, some with modifications this fall! Although we are still getting information and trying to confirm details, we are counting on a full return of inter-school sports teams, a full return of our drama program and a partial return of our music extracurriculars. More information will be shared in the coming weeks.
Students have many opportunities to become involved in extra-curricular activities at LCH. These activities are an investment of time and energy and help students develop their interests and God-given talents and greatly enhance the high school experience. Most of the time, extra-curricular activities take place outside of the regular school day. Prior to committing to activities, students would be wise to discuss their interest and commitment with their parents.
What sorts of co-curricular events can I participate in at lunch, or after school? What are the many activities in which students can participate, including intramural sports, various clubs, and student council activities?

Drama Production
Each year, London Christian High’s Drama Club presents a mainstage production. This production typically includes thirty – fifty students as cast members, and on various crews such as hair and make-up, sound, lighting, props, costumes, set construction, production, and stage management. Each year, auditions are held in October and students can sign up for crews beginning in October/November. Students should watch for this information in the daily announcements.
Music
Concert Choir:
Our concert choir is the heart of the music program at London Christian High and is comprised of students from various grade levels and musical backgrounds. Each year, the choir performs at various festivals and church services in London and surrounding area. The choir also enjoys an annual trip; past trips include Toronto and New York City.
Praise team:
Our praise team collaborates with our Assembly team to organize music and lead worship for our assemblies, special events, and concerts. Students from all grades and levels of vocal and instrumental musical experiences are welcome to join and cultivate their musical and leadership skills through this ensemble.
Concert Band:
Our Concert Band performs each year at our Celebrations of Learning. Practices usually happen at lunch hour over the school year and are a great place to develop musical skills and gifts.
Student Leadership
Students’ Council takes a leadership role in many of our extra-curriculars including the bocce ball tournament in September, Euchre Tournament in April, Mario Kart tournament in May. Our Student leadership also takes a leading role in Worship Wednesdays, a lunch-time gathering of praise, prayer, and worship held Wednesdays in the PAR. Also, our student leadership leads student events such as Grade 8 Day, Banquet, student dances, Grade 9 Student Connections Night.
Intramurals
Throughout the school year, intramural activities pop-up (bocce ball, euchre, floor hockey, etc). A number of staff and student organized clubs and activities take place during the year as well (ex. book club, spiritual life, etc.). The best place to learn about these is through the daily announcements.
