Student Life
High school is a great time for students to explore their interests and talents.
Getting involved in extra-curriculars is a great way to grow abilities and meet friends with shared interests. London Christian High has opportunities for students to explore their interests and talents in extracurriculars, intramurals, and student leadership opportunities.
Student Leadership – Students’ Council & AMP

Students’ Council
Students’ Council is guided by teachers and led by senior students.
Student life thrives when students themselves step out in faith and develop as leaders. Our students have the opportunity to develop their leadership gifts in Students’ Council, which leads student events such as fall fest, banquet, Relay for Life, canned food drives, a year-end trip, and spirit days. All students (grade 9-12) have the opportunity to participate on various committees led by Students’ Council.
AMP
The Ambassador and Mentorship Program (AMP) is guided by teachers and led by senior students.
The focus of AMP is hospitality. AMP welcomes students new to the school by planning and leading orientation and integration events. AMP leaders provide positive social and spiritual leadership to the student body through practicing hospitality and welcoming.
Extra-curriculars – Athletics
Athletics at London Christian High are an extension of the classroom.
LCH participates in league and tournament play through TVRA (Thames Valley Regional Athletics) and “Christian High”, the Ontario Christian Secondary Schools Athletic Association (OCSSAA).
We believe that student athletes should be taught how to play their sport well, which includes much more than learning how to win; it also means learning how to dignify the game, honouring the opponents and other competitors, the officials and spectators, and bringing glory to God through their efforts.
Our teams include:
Extra-Curriculars – Clubs & Activities
In addition to our Athletics program, students have opportunities to develop their talents and use their gifts in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities including drama club, robotics, yearbook, book club, art club, praise team, gaming club, and more! Some clubs and activities have a long history, but new ones are also started every year as students show leadership, take initiative, and pursue their interests and passions.
Clubs and activities happen at lunch or after school.
Drama
The Drama Club aims to provide students with experiences in building their knowledge and skills in all things theatre – both behind the scenes and on stage.
Through the years, the Drama Club has become well known for staging dramatic productions of a high caliber.
Bi-annual mainstage productions typically include fifteen to thirty students as cast members, and at least as many students on the various crews which include sound, lighting, hair and makeup, costumes, set construction, and stage management.
Some recent productions have included Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, Treasure Island and Seussical.
Music
Music clubs consist of several extra-curricular options for both singers and instrumentalists.
Through offerings such as string quartet, vocal ensembles and praise teams, students have the opportunity to grow in their musical talent and musical leadership.
Praise teams visit local churches and make recordings of their performances and compositions.
