At London Christian High, our Student Services team is available for students to discuss and work through academic, learning, and personal issues, primarily within the framework of the school day. The Student Services Team comprises our Guidance Department, Student Wellness Lead, and Learning Commons Team.
Guidance Department
At London Christian High, we have two guidance counsellors dedicated to serving and supporting you throughout your high school journey.
The guidance department assists students in academic transitions, identifying learning support needs, assisting with learning strategies, helping you reach your academic goals and discern your post-secondary pathway, and supporting you with the post-secondary application process.
Student Wellness Lead
London Christian High offers support for mental, emotional, and physical well-being primarily through our Student Wellness Lead. She offers resources and support to help students thrive in and out of the classroom. Whether they need stress management tips, counselling services, or ways to stay active and balanced, our Student Wellness Lead strives to connect students with support and help them take charge of their wellness journey.
Learning Commons Team
Our well-resourced Learning Commons Team primarily provides adaptive support to students with specific learning needs identified in Individual Education Plans (IEP) through placing educational assistants in classes, advocating for student needs, providing alternative testing space, quiet working space, access to technology, and guidance with learning strategies. All students at London Christian High can benefit from general academic support provided through the Learning Commons, which can be accessed by any student at any time.
