REACH FOR THE TOP
Reach for the Top is a fast paced trivia quiz that challenges the students’ knowledge on a wide variety of topics from stoichiometry to geography to Disney movies! LCH students can compete against other students across the province or country through the SchoolReach and Reach for the Top competitions. Esports

ESPORTS GAMING CLUB

This club brings together students who are passionate about esports to play together and against each other at lunch.

INTRAMURALS
The majority of intramurals at LCH are organized by Students’ Council, but are also sometimes run by teachers or the Recreational Leadership class. Intramurals include a living bocce ball tournament in the fall called the Kit Kat Cup, Mario Kart tournaments, and sports.

ART CLUB
Art Club is a place where students get to make new friends and explore visual arts together. In Art Club, students participate in workshops to learn about different visual arts mediums, make art together individually and in community with one another, and help out with some of the visual aspects of the annual Drama Production like set painting and prop making.

CAMERA CLUB
This club is for students who want to learn more about how to use DSLR cameras and improve their photography skills. Students learn technical skills together, do weekly photography challenges, and share their photographs.

MUSIC CLUBS
LCH runs several music clubs including Praise Team, Band, and Choir. For more information about these extracurriculars, click here.

DRAMA CLUB

This is one of our largest clubs and is a great way to make friends and get involved! The Drama Club produces a production each year in the spring. To learn more about this club, click here.

MATH & COMPUTING CONTESTS

Each year, LCH students have the opportunity to participate in Mathematics and Computing Contests through the Center for Education in Mathematics & Computing at the University of Waterloo. To learn more about this opportunity, reach out to the teachers in our Math Department or go to the CEMC website.

Clubs change from year to year based on student and teacher interest. Other clubs that have run include 3D printing, baking, calligraphy, woodworking, camping, chamber choir, hairstyling, origami, strategy games, mental health awareness, publishing magazines, and videography.
