Join us on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 for our online Grade 8 Day experience! Grade 8 students will be able to meet current LCH teachers and students, participate in a virtual tour of the school, and engage in fun online workshops giving a taste of high school life at LCH. Supplies for the workshops will be sent to Grade 8 teachers ahead of time, at no cost to them! Stay tuned for more details to come!

Advice From Grade 9s
Our current group of grade 9 students took some time out of their busy schedules to pass along some helpful advice from their recent transition to high school. Here’s what they had to say:
Teachers are very understanding and they care. Don’t be afraid to ask older kids for help, because they understand what you’re going through in grade 9.
Get involved right away. Join teams and try out for stuff.
Do homework and listen to the teacher.
Take lots of notes, stay on top of things.
Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself to new people. It seems scary, but it’s definitely worth it. You’ll be friends for the rest of your high school career.
Be yourself! Try your best and be yourself.
