Language study is a means of fostering respect and building community among different cultures around the world and is an important part of fulfilling our calling as Christians.

Studying French at London Christian High helps students to develop their awareness and knowledge of the diversity of expression among cultures, and confronts students with a different way of seeing and experiencing the world in which we live.

In that light, language study is a means of fostering respect and building community among different cultures around the world and is an important part of fulfilling our calling as Christians to love and serve others by being a blessing to those beyond our own small community. Our students have partnered with a French first language school and traveled to Montreal and Quebec City.

Practically, students who choose to study French throughout their years of high school are provided with tools to learn to communicate in one of Canada’s official languages, and also gives them a better understanding of the structure and role of language itself, helping them to gain transferable knowledge and skills.
