Chris Kaastra, Chair

Chris Kaastra and his wife Nicole live in Strathroy with their two sons, Jaelen (Grade 9 at LCH) and Nash (Grade 8 at SCCS). He spent 4 years at LCH travelling from Clinton on the Huron County bus, graduating in 2001. His family has been actively involved with Vitalpoint Church in Poplar Hill for many years. His family stays quite busy enjoying many sports, camping, hiking, and travelling. For work, you can find Chris driving the country roads of Huron and Middlesex county, managing and servicing swine and poultry farms looking after their nutrition needs through Masterfeeds.

Jesse Nieman, Vice Chair

Jesse is married, has 4 kids, one of which is currently in grade 9 at LCH. His other 3 children attend St. Thomas Community Christian School. His family live just outside of St. Thomas on a small hobby farm where they are growing their children and a little bit of corn currently. He works in construction as a general contractor and he is also an electrician. Jesse is an alumni of LCH and had an incredible experience there. He believe in Christian education because the public standard is different than our calling as believers. He believes our goal is not to simply produce an educated contributing citizen, but an educated follower of Christ.

Ralph Luimes, CPC & Governance

Ralph grew up in E. Ontario on a dairy farm near Williamsburg. After graduating from Guelph University and Calvin University, he married Deb and they have 3 children that are now all married and live in the US. Both Ralph and Deb have taught in Ontario Christian High Schools. Deb and Ralph lived in Caledonia for 25 yrs and in 2015 moved to Mt Brydges when they also joined Talbot Street Church in London. Ralph holds a Christian Teachers Certificate, an Ontario Teachers Certificate, a Masters in Education from Ottawa University and an EMBA from Queens. His employment careers involved extensive governance, banking, HR, marketing, business and construction background. Retired from credit union management, Ralph now serves on a number of not-for-profit boards and helps on a variety of projects. He can also frequently be found operating large farm equipment.

Tanya Duiker, Secretary 

Tanya grew up in Ingersoll and attended LCH during her high school years. She met her husband at LCH and they now live in Stratford. They attend the Stratford Christian Reformed Church. She is a part time music teacher at the Stratford & District Christian School teaching the band classes and private piano lessons. When she is not at the school, she works part-time in landscaping and takes care of their four boys.

Nicole Vander Hoek, Member

Nicole Vander Hoek is married to Terry and they have four children. Two children currently attend LCH and the other two attend Woodstock Christian School. Nicole has lived in Oxford County almost her entire life. Her family now lives in Ingersoll and they attend Maranatha CRC in Woodstock. Right now she works part-time in a gift store in Ingersoll, helps with the book work for their renovation business, and helps run their household. Both Nicole and Terry attended LCH. They have a passion for Christian Education and think it is one of the best investments for their children.
